Photography

Commercial & Advertising Photography is just a fancy way of saying we shoot everything.

Commercial and advertising is a fancy way of saying I shoot everything. Here is what that actually covers.

Headshots and portraits

Business headshots, executive portraits, team photos and the profile picture you have been putting off for two years. Studio, your office or on location. I bring the light with me, so a beige conference room is not a problem.

Product

On white, on set or in the hand. I have shot diamonds and brownies in the same week. Small work benefits from patience and a lot of small lights.

Industrial and manufacturing

Warehouses, oil fields, shop floors and job sites. Bad ambient light, no outlets where you need them, and a foreman who has given you ten minutes. This is my favorite kind of shoot.

Interiors and architecture

Finished projects for architects, builders and interior designers. Shot for the portfolio and the magazine submission, not just the listing.

Food and beverage

Plated the way you actually plate it, in the room where people eat it. Shot around service rather than through it.

Artwork

Reproduction grade capture for galleries, artists and collections.

Outdoor and sport

Skiing, biking, climbing, fishing, running. Lit properly, which is the part most people skip.

How it works

Call and tell me what the pictures are for. Where they run matters more than how many you need. You get a written quote with the shoot, the deliverables and the usage spelled out. We shoot, half day or full day, on location or in studio. Then everything comes back edited, color corrected and sized for wherever it is going.

Licensing, in plain language

You are buying the right to use the images, and that right is written into the quote. Standard commercial use covers your website, your social, your print collateral and your ads. Broader use like billboards, national campaigns or resale gets quoted separately. If you are not sure which you need, tell me where you want the picture to end up and I will tell you.
