Work for lodges, resorts and outfitters.
Your competition is not the property down the road. It is Aspen, Big Sky, Sun Valley and a hundred places with a marketing department. The guest deciding between you and them is looking at pictures on a phone and they are deciding in about nine seconds.
Most properties here get photographed once every five or six years by someone who flies in, shoots in whatever weather they got and leaves. Then that library has to carry the website, the OTA listings, the rack cards, the ads and the socials until it visibly ages out.
I live here, so I shoot your property in the season it actually sells. Fall color for the fall booking window. Snow on the roof for the ski package. Green and long light for summer. Same photographer, same look across all of it, so your feed and your website do not look like four different hotels.
What a property usually needs
Rooms, suites and cabins, lit so they read the way they feel. Exteriors and grounds in the right season and the right light. Food and beverage if you have a restaurant or a bar. Guests and lifestyle, with released talent. Amenities, spa, conference and event spaces. Aerials of the property and the setting. A brand film for the homepage and a short cut for social. The rack card, the brochure and the in room collateral. And the website that holds all of it.
Book ahead
Fall and winter shoot windows get committed in early summer. If the pictures need to be live before the booking window opens, we should be talking now.
